About This Caster - AS40P1TPR
Set this 4-inch A-Line swivel on the front of a narrow utility cart, the plate-mount TPR caster whose compact 2-5/8 x 3-3/4 plate steers a slim-framed cart at the everyday workhorse height.
The small P1 plate bolts to a narrow deck for a free-steering swivel with no stem, and the 4-inch diameter rolls a utility cart over a cord or sill while keeping the deck workable. The precision ball bearing turns smooth, and the Pemco TPR rubber on a polypropylene core stays soft and quiet with no marks on a finished floor.
Ideal applications
- Front of narrow utility carts at workhorse height
- Slim decks that take a compact swivel plate
- Finished floors that need free quiet steering
Skip the TPR wheel if the cart loads hard or works near heat over 180°F; a TPU polyurethane or cast iron E-line wheel stands up where rubber flattens.
