About This Caster - AS30G1PODSB
Put this 3-inch swivel under a wash-bay picking cart that stops at each stall, where the wheel takes a hosing and a side brake holds it between picks.
The A-Line POD wheel from Pemco is polyolefin on a poly core, a hard black tread that will not soak up water or rust through a daily hosing, so it suits wash bays a metal-core wheel would corrode in. A side-mounted foot brake locks the wheel with a tap so the cart holds at a stall while the swivel still turns, and the Delrin plain bearing runs maintenance-free. The 7/16-inch grip-ring stem snaps into a tube-leg socket, and the tread holds to 180°F.
