Specify this 6-inch stainless swivel for heavy medical equipment that has to roll bedside and then lock dead-still while a patient is moved onto or off it, the moment when any drift is a safety problem.
The total lock freezes the wheel and the swivel together in one pedal, so the equipment cannot roll or pivot during a transfer. The stainless construction stands up to daily disinfection and wash-down without rusting, and the grey non-marking rubber tread on a polyolefin core rolls quietly over hospital vinyl and leaves no marks. The 6-inch wheel clears thresholds and elevator gaps.
