Use this 8-inch Defender D4 rigid when a loaded sterilization or retort cart clears the biggest obstacles through steam and high heat at a slow pace.
The roller bearing carries the most weight of the three bearings at a slow pace, and the blue hi-temp retort polypropylene wheel rides through autoclave and food-processing retort cycles where heat and steam would soften an elastomer, holding to 250°F and resisting sterile-processing chemicals. The tallest 8-inch wheel bridges the widest cracks and clears big obstacles with the least effort, on a stainless steel frame for wash-down service. The wheel is hard with no cushioning and can mark a soft floor. Rigid means it tracks straight at the rear. It serves from -45 to 250°F.
