About This Caster - D4.08108.835 SS
Choose this 8-inch Defender D4 rigid when a budget cart clears the biggest obstacles, rolls fast, and carries modest loads.
The tallest 8-inch wheel bridges the widest cracks and clears big obstacles with the least effort, and the economical polyolefin tread resists chemicals and moisture without absorbing water and wipes clean. The pedestal precision ball bearing keeps it rolling smoothly on faster, frequent trips and tow lines, on a stainless steel frame for corrosion. Polyolefin is a value tread that carries less than a poly-on-core wheel and, being hard, can scuff a soft floor. Rigid means it tracks straight at the rear. It serves from -45 to 180°F.
