Choose this 6-inch Defender D4 swivel with a top lock brake when a budget cart steers on faster routes, clears thresholds, and needs a quick top-set parking brake.
The swivel head steers the cart, with a 5.375-inch radius to allow for the brake assembly, and the pedestal precision ball bearing keeps both wheel and swivel turning smoothly on faster trips when the brake is released. The top lock brake sets quickly from above to hold the cart in place. The economical polyolefin wheel resists chemicals and moisture without absorbing water, on a stainless steel frame for corrosion, and the taller 6-inch wheel clears thresholds easily. Polyolefin is a value tread that carries less than a poly-on-core wheel and, being hard, can mark a soft floor. It serves from -45 to 180°F.
