About This Caster - D4.06109.831 SS
Go with this 6-inch Defender D4 swivel when a budget wash-down cart steers, clears thresholds, and stays corrosion-proof with modest loads.
The swivel head guides the cart through tight, sanitary spaces, with a 4.875-inch swivel radius to allow, and the economical polyolefin wheel resists chemicals and moisture without absorbing water and wipes clean. The Delrin plain bearing runs grease-free and corrosion-proof for sprayed-down rooms, and the taller 6-inch wheel clears door tracks and joints with the least effort, on a stainless steel frame for corrosion. Polyolefin is a value tread that carries less than a poly-on-core wheel and, being hard, can scuff a soft floor. It serves from -45 to 180°F.
