About This Caster - D4.04109.831 HTBLK SS
Choose this 4-inch Defender D4 swivel when a damp cart steers on a heat-grade nylon wheel with no bearing upkeep.
The swivel head guides the cart through tight spaces, with a 3.375-inch swivel radius to allow, and the hi-temp glass-filled nylon wheel is a glass-fiber-reinforced tread built for strength and heat resistance, holding up to chemicals and moisture without absorbing water. The Delrin plain bearing runs grease-free and corrosion-proof for sprayed-down bays, on a stainless steel frame for corrosion. Glass-filled nylon is hard with no cushioning and can mark a soft floor. This is the grease-free, heat-grade steering caster for clean, damp areas on hard flooring. It serves across the listed range from -20 to 180°F.
