About This Caster - D4.04108.539 SS WB29
Reach for this 4-inch Defender D4 rigid when a chemical-area cart is loaded to the limit and pushed slowly.
This is the highest-capacity build in the Maxim glass-filled nylon line: the roller bearing carries the most weight of the three bearings offered, suited to slow, sustained pushing, and the Maxim wheel matches it with glass-fiber reinforcement that takes heavy point loads while resisting chemicals and moisture. The stainless steel frame holds up in corrosive, sprayed-down bays, and the rigid mount keeps the load tracking straight at the rear. Glass-filled nylon is hard with no cushioning, so it transmits floor shock and can mark a soft surface, making this a pure strength-and-capacity caster for hard floors. It serves from -20 to 180°F.
