About This Caster - D4.04108.459 COND SS WB29
Choose this 4-inch Defender D4 rigid when a heavier cart has to drain static in an ESD-sensitive or flammable area and is moved slowly.
The roller bearing gives this the most load capacity of the three bearings offered, carrying weight toward the soft-rubber limit at a slow, controlled pace, while the conductive flat-tread Performa wheel carries static charge from the cart through the caster to ground rather than letting it build up. That protects electronics and reduces spark risk around solvents or fine dust. The flat profile gives a stable footprint, and the soft rubber rolls quietly and stays easy on floors, though the conductive compound can mark a light finished surface. The stainless steel frame suits wash-down service. Rigid means it tracks straight. It serves from -45 to 180°F.
