About This Caster - 2.05208.445
Bolt this 5-inch Performa rubber rigid caster with the ball bearing and top plate to the back corners of a cart that tracks straight, the fixed yoke that holds the line and the tall 5-inch soft Grey wheel that rolls over obstacles a smaller wheel would stub on.
A rigid caster does not swivel, so it keeps the cart tracking straight while swivels up front steer, the 5-inch wheel is the tallest in this family and clears thresholds, cords, and floor seams the easiest, the ball bearing carries a heavier load and rolls it with less push than a Delrin bore, and the Performa rubber tread cushions the load and leaves no mark. Confirm your plate pattern matches the 3-5/8 by 2-11/16 inch plate before you order. It is the tall easy-rolling rubber rigid for the back corners of a cart that rolls over big obstacles.
