Specify this 2.5-inch Performa rubber swivel with the top lock brake and 3/4-10 stem for the parking corner of a heavy museum display cart, the quiet caster whose largest stud anchors the frame and whose pedal locks the wheel still.
A heavy display or archive cart built on a 3/4-tapped frame needs the largest stud to anchor it and a brake to hold a valuable load steady, and the 3/4-10 stem anchors the weight while the top lock brake stops the wheel. The ball bearing carries the busy duty, and the soft Grey Performa rubber tread keeps it quiet and non-marking on a gallery floor. At 2.5 inches it keeps a low deck.
