About This Caster - 2.02254.445 COND MTG14 BRK1
Specify this 2.5-inch conductive Performa rubber swivel with the top lock brake and fine 5/8-18 stem for the parking corner of a heavier vibrating cart in a fuel area, the caster that prevents a spark, grips against shake, and locks the wheel still.
The conductive tread bleeds charge off the cart so it cannot spark, the large fine 5/8-18 thread resists backing out under vibration on a heavier leg, and the top lock brake stops the wheel so the cart holds at a transfer point. The wheel keeps the quiet, non-marking Performa ride on a ball bearing. At 2.5 inches it keeps a low deck. It is the static-safe vibration-resistant braked corner for a heavy fine-tapped leg.
Ideal applications
- Parking corner of a fuel-area cart on a fine 5/8-18 leg, ESD floor
- Static-safe heavier rig locked still under vibration
- Flammable-area cart that drains charge and holds at a transfer point
Skip the conductive brake corner where static is not a concern; the standard braked fine MTG14 31MH25X581802-03 locks the wheel for ordinary duty.
