About This Caster - 2.02254.445 COND MTG14
Choose this 2.5-inch conductive Performa rubber swivel with the fine 5/8-18 stem for a heavier vibrating cart in a fuel-handling area, the caster whose conductive tread prevents a spark while its large fine-thread stud grips against shake.
A fuel area demands both static control and a mount that will not shake loose, so the conductive tread bleeds charge to ground and the 5/8-18 thread combines a larger diameter with a fine pitch that resists backing out under vibration on a heavier leg. The wheel keeps the quiet, non-marking Performa ride on a ball bearing. At 2.5 inches it stays maneuverable. It is the static-safe vibration-resistant steering caster for a heavy fine-tapped leg.
