About This Caster - BK-POW 100KF-1
Set this 100mm rigid caster on a fixed corner of a heavier cart that needs a quiet, hard-wearing wheel on a smooth floor.
The wheel is hard Blickle nylon 6 with a built-in rubber damping ring, which is the point of this design: the nylon body rolls with low resistance and carries weight, while the ring takes the edge off the noise and shock a bare nylon wheel would transmit. It runs on a ball bearing inside a strong pressed-steel BK bracket, and a synthetic thread guard keeps string, film, and fibers out of the bearing in packaging or textile areas. As a rigid caster it holds a straight line as a fixed corner, bolts on a 100 by 85mm top plate, and works from -4 to 176°F.
