Choose this 6-inch 62 Series swivel for the steer end of a busy clean-floor cart, the polyurethane-on-aluminum caster whose precision ball bearing turns it light and whose green tread protects the finish.

On this 6-inch swivel the precision ball bearing is the difference: it breaks into a turn and rolls off under load with little push, keeping a loaded cart steerable on a finished floor. The poly tread is quiet and non-marking, the aluminum core resists corrosion and the flat-spotting that kills a plastic hub, and the plate bolts flat on a 7-1/2 mount height. Heat caps it at 180°F.

Ideal applications

If the line runs hotter than 180°F, pass on the poly; a phenolic 62TM06201S keeps a hard tread heat-stable to 250°F.
