Set this 5-inch 62 Series rigid under a cart that lives on a finished floor and can't leave a scuff, the polyurethane-on-aluminum caster whose green tread grips quiet and whose aluminum core won't corrode or go flat.

Polyurethane on a die-cast aluminum core gives a quiet, non-marking roll with real grip, and the metal core holds its shape under a standing load where a plastic hub deforms. The 5-inch rigid tracks straight, the roller bearing moves the load at a walk, and the 6-1/4 by 4-1/2 plate bolts flat. The green tread is good to 180°F before heat softens it.

Ideal applications

• Finished-floor carts that can't leave a scuff
• Green poly tread gripping where a hard wheel skates
• Corrosion-free aluminum core under a standing load

Past 180°F the poly tread loses its grip; where heat is the problem a nylon 62NG05201R rolls hard and inert to 250°F.
