About This Caster - 62MR04201S
Choose this 4-inch 62 Series swivel for the front of a heavy quiet cart on a finished floor, the mold-on rubber on cast iron caster whose iron core steers the load where a plastic-core rubber wheel deforms under weight.
A polypropylene-core rubber wheel goes oval under a heavy industrial load and the swivel tracks loose; the 62 Series mold-on rubber tread is bonded to a cast iron core that holds its shape under far more weight, while the rubber stays quiet and non-marking. The roller bearing carries the dead weight at a walk, the 4-inch diameter keeps the deck low, and the 6-1/4 by 4-1/2 top plate bolts to a flat deck. Industrial-duty.
