About This Caster - 310PY12501S
Set this 12-inch green polyurethane-on-iron swivel on a steering corner of the heaviest manual cart in the shop, the kind that has to maneuver across the worst floors.
The kingpinless welded raceway is what makes a 12-inch swivel viable under this duty: it carries the extreme shock and weight without a central kingpin to fail. The roller bearing is built for the heaviest hand-pushed loads, and the green polyurethane on a cast iron core pairs high capacity with a non-marking, floor-friendly tread. As the largest swivel in the 310 line, it clears the biggest obstacles while staying maneuverable. It is built on the American-made heat-treated laser-cut steel frame, has a wide 3-inch tread, bolts on a 6-1/4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate, and holds from -40 to 180°F.
