About This Caster - 18AX04228R

Set this 4-inch ergonomic polyurethane rigid on a fixed corner of a workstation or line cart where operators move loads all shift.

The 18 series is built to cut operator strain: the non-marking maroon polyurethane tread on a lightweight aluminum hub rolls with low resistance and runs quietly, so a loaded cart starts and moves with noticeably less push and pull. As a rigid caster it tracks straight on the fixed corners to steady the cart, and the zinc-plated frame resists corrosion. It runs on a precision ball bearing, bolts on a 4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate at a 5-5/8-inch mount height, and holds from -40 to 180°F.
