Choose this 4-inch braked swivel for an institutional cart that has to stay braked on its own, where the brake cannot be allowed to vibrate loose and let the cart roll off while it is parked.

The face brake clamps the wheel and the brake-lock holds the brake engaged, so the cart stays put even on a cart that gets bumped or works a slight grade. The wheel is tough glass-filled polypropylene, impact-resistant and chemical-tolerant to 250°F with no steel to rust, and the roller bearing carries the load. It is the lockable-brake institutional swivel of the 170 Series.
