About This Caster - 16TM04201SFBA
Specify this 4-inch 16 Series swivel for a low oil-and-heat cart that must hold at a stop, the phenolic caster whose hard tread carries the load without flattening while a face brake clamps it still where a soft braked wheel would set.
A soft braked wheel flat-spots where a heavy cart parks against the brake near oil; the 16 Series phenolic wheel is a hard resin that holds its shape and takes oil and heat to 250°F, and the face brake presses a shoe against the wheel face to hold at a station. The roller bearing carries the load at a walk, the 4-inch diameter keeps the cart low, and the 4 by 4-1/2 top plate bolts to a flat deck. USA-made for fast shipping.
