About This Caster - 16CA04201R
Set this 4-inch 16 Series rigid on the back corners of a low oven-line cart, the cast iron caster whose wheel rolls through heat to 800°F where rubber melts and phenolic chars, while the rigid fork tracks it straight.
Rubber gives by 180°F and phenolic chars past 250°F; the 16 Series cast iron wheel carries the highest load and rolls through radiant heat to 800°F, which an oven-line or heat-treat cart needs at the rear. The roller bearing carries the load at a walk, the rigid fork holds the line behind front swivels, and the 4-inch diameter keeps a hot cart low. The 4 by 4-1/2 top plate bolts to a flat deck. USA-made for fast shipping.
