Specify this 8-inch cast iron swivel for the heaviest hot cart that rolls long over debris and then has to park and hold, where a smaller wheel stalls on scale and a kingpin shears under the steering load.
The 8-inch diameter rolls over chips, hose, and joints that stop a smaller wheel and keeps a loaded cart moving down a long run, and Albion's 110 Contender Kingpinless swivel rides a heat-treated raceway with no kingpin to shear. The grey cast iron wheel carries a hard, heavy load from -100 to 800°F, and the face brake presses on the wheel to stop it once the cart is staged. The roller bearing turns the weight at a slow pace.

- Foundry transfer rigs where kingpin swivels shear
