About This Caster - 110CA08201S
Build this 8-inch cast iron swivel into a heavy cart that travels long, hot runs over debris, where a smaller wheel jams against scale and a kingpin gives out under the steering load.
The 8-inch diameter is the largest here and rolls over chips, hose, and floor joints with the least effort, holding a loaded cart's momentum down a long run, and Albion's 110 Contender Kingpinless swivel rides a heat-treated raceway with no kingpin to shear. The grey cast iron wheel carries a hard, heavy load from -100 to 800°F, suited to foundry transfer and oven-line carts, and the roller bearing turns the weight at a slow pace. Confirm the rig clears an 8-inch wheel before building.
