Not as well as rubber or polyurethane. Nylon is a hard wheel that rolls best on smooth, hard floors and can be noisier and less floor-friendly. If you need both heavy capacity and floor protection, heavy duty polyurethane is the better choice; choose nylon when chemical resistance is the priority.

These range from about 1,760 to 5,400 lbs per caster depending on wheel size and rig. For the heaviest loads, choose the larger diameters. Divide your total load across all casters and add a safety margin.
