About This Caster - 410NX06528SFBB
Set this 6-inch nylon swivel with a face brake on the toughest heavy hot-area cart corner that steers, then parks and holds.
A face brake presses a shoe against the wheel to stop it, holding the heaviest cart on its spot. The 410 carries up to 5,400 pounds across the series, the black nylon wheel holds up to 220°F and harsh chemicals, and the kingpinless welded raceway takes the heavy shock without a central kingpin to fail. The trade is that a hard wheel gives no cushioning and can be hard on a soft floor, so it suits sealed concrete. It rides on a precision ball bearing, bolts on a 5-1/4 by 7-1/4-inch top plate, and has a wide 3-inch tread.
