About This Caster - PSC50223BK-U
Choose this polyurethane swivel for equipment with a round-leg socket that has to roll on a non-marking wheel and then be braked at the stem, the furniture-style frames where a top plate has nothing to bolt to.
The grip-ring stem snaps into the leg socket, and the compression brake at the stem locks the caster so the unit holds in place. The polyurethane wheel rolls non-marking on a finished floor and carries more than a soft furniture tread. It is the braked stem caster for institutional seating, fixtures, and round-leg equipment.
Ideal applications
- Institutional seating and fixtures with round-leg sockets, finished floor
- Equipment that rolls then brakes at the stem, sealed floor
- Furniture-style frames needing a non-marking braked caster, single-shift
Skip the grip-ring stem if the frame has a flat surface for a plate; a top-plate caster bolts on where there is no leg socket.
