Mount this 5-inch Shepherd Regent rigid at the back of furniture or equipment that is moved often and needs a slim, quiet wheel that rolls with little effort.
The Regent line is the popular 1-inch-wide institutional choice, narrower than the wider series, suiting lighter furniture, electronics, food-service carts, and store fixtures. This version runs on a precision ball bearing, so it rolls with noticeably less effort than the plain-bearing model when a piece is pushed frequently. The grey rubber wheel on a polyolefin core cushions bumps, runs quietly, and leaves no marks, and the tall 5-inch diameter clears wider thresholds. As a rigid it tracks straight while swivels up front steer, on a 5-7/8-inch mount. It serves from -40°F to 180°F.
