About This Caster - PRE40748ZN-TPRB
Reach for this 4-inch Regent swivel when a threaded leg socket needs a quiet rubber wheel that also locks where the cart parks.
The 1-1/2-inch stem threads into a 1/2-13 insert and snugs with a nut, a mount that stays put on a hard-used leg, and a tread-lock brake adds a pedal that presses a shoe on the wheel so the parked cart will not creep. The wheel is a soft grey thermoplastic rubber on a polyolefin core, a 1-inch tread that rolls near-silent and non-marking from -40 to 180°F. The brake holds the wheel only, leaving the swivel head free to point.

- Hard-used legs needing a positive stem plus a wheel brake
- Quiet institutional carts held still without a floor chock
