The total lock brake stops the wheel and locks the swivel with one pedal so a parked unit holds its spot. This is the threaded-stem version, dropping into a 1/2-inch-13 socket rather than bolting to a plate, with a grey rubber wheel on a polyolefin core that cushions bumps, runs quietly, and leaves no marks. The tall 5-inch diameter rolls over wider cracks and thresholds, a precision ball bearing keeps the swivel steering with little effort, and it turns with a 4.375-inch radius. It carries less than a hard wheel, so it earns its place where a quiet ride leads. It serves from -40°F to 180°F.
