About This Caster - PGS40120ZN-POD01(KK)
Set this 4-inch black polypropylene swivel under a food-service or washdown cart that gets hosed down and bolts to a flat frame.
The hard polypropylene wheel wipes clean and shrugs off moisture and cleaning chemicals, and it takes heat to 230°F where a rubber tread would soften. It is light and economical, with the trade that a hard wheel transmits bumps instead of cushioning them and black poly can mark a light floor. It steers on a plain bearing, so it suits light loads and intermittent moves. At 4 inches it bolts on a 2-5/8 by 3-3/4-inch zinc top plate and runs from -20 to 230°F.
