Choose this 4-inch Shepherd Genesis stem swivel with a tread lock brake for stem-mounted medical equipment that has to roll quietly and then hold its wheel during use.
The Genesis build pairs a polished white glass-filled nylon body with integrated thread guards, giving strength and a clean clinical look without the corrosion of metal. It threads into a 1/2-inch-13 socket, and the tread lock brake presses a shoe on the grey rubber wheel to stop it rolling while the swivel still turns for repositioning, so a parked unit stays put. The non-marking rubber wheel runs quietly on a precision ball bearing, and it steers with a 4.125-inch radius on a 5-3/8-inch mount. It serves from -40°F to 180°F.
