About This Leveling Mount - SSW-3

Step up to the SSW-3 for a heavier sanitary machine, a 2.5-inch stainless swivel on a coarse 5/8-11 stud, where both the load and the daily wash would defeat a plated foot.

At this weight the corrosion problem gets worse, not better: a heavy machine wets and loads its mounts at once, and rust starting deep in the 5/8-11 thread locks the nut where no one can reach it until a re-level shears the stud. The Stainless Steel thread stays free, so the foot can come back to true after the floor settles. The wider 2.5-inch pad spreads the heavier load on the slab and still articulates to seat flat on a sloped wet floor.

Ideal applications

• Heavier filler or capper frame on an epoxy floor washed each shift
• Stainless process skid re-leveled after a wet-area floor reseal
• Mid-weight machine in a brine or wash bay that pits coated steel

Skip the SSW-3 in a dry shop where stainless is wasted; the steel BSW-3 gives the same 2.5-inch swivel base for less.
