About This Leveling Mount - SSW-0
Pick the SSW-0 for the smallest sanitary leveling job, a 1-inch stainless swivel on a 1/4-20 stud, for light equipment that has to sit flat and then take daily washdown without a spot of rust.
The Stainless Steel build is the whole point at this size: a plated 1/4-20 stud is so fine that the first bloom of corrosion under the nut seizes it solid, and the next adjustment twists the stud off. Stainless keeps the small thread turning clean for years in a wet room. The 1-inch pad still tilts on its swivel seat to meet a sloped tile floor flat, so the light unit does not rock on one edge between cleanings.
Ideal applications
- Small scale or dispenser leveled on a hosed-down prep counter
- Light sensor enclosure in a chloride-heavy cold room
- Benchtop sanitary fixture wiped with caustic between runs
Skip the SSW-0 in a dry room where stainless buys nothing; the plain-steel BSW-0 shares the 1-inch swivel base for less.
