About This Leveling Mount - BSW-4
Specify the BSW-4 under heavy machinery, where the 3/4-10 stud and the 3-inch foot are sized to hold a serious load steady on a floor that was never poured flat.
At this weight the swivel pad earns its place by killing the rock that a rigid foot leaves under a heavy frame. A machine resting on three of its four feet hammers the high corner every cycle, and that impact is what cracks anchor pads and shakes leveling screws out of adjustment. The articulating base seats all four feet at once, so the load sits dead and the coarse 3/4-10 thread holds the height you set.
Ideal applications
- Heavy machine tool that must hold tram on an uneven plant floor
- Stamping or forming base that pounds its mounts every stroke
- Large gearbox skid set across a slab seam in a maintenance bay
Skip the BSW-4 if the load is lighter than its 3-inch base suggests; the BSW-3 levels the same way on a 2.5-inch foot for less.
Pairs with: the larger BSW-5 where one corner of the frame carries the bulk of the weight.
