About This Leveling Mount - BSW-1

Choose the BSW-1 when a workbench or a light machine has to stand flat and steady on a shop floor that is close to level but not quite, with the 3/8-16 stud reaching up into the frame.

The 1.25-inch steel pad articulates on its swivel seat to match whatever slope the floor hands it, so the contact stays full-face and the bench stops teetering on one foot. Without that movement, an out-of-flat floor concentrates the whole load on a pad edge, and the resulting rock works the leg fasteners loose over a shift. The tilting base keeps the footprint planted so the jam nut holds its setting.

Ideal applications

• Light assembly workbench on a troweled concrete floor with a slight fall
• Inspection table that has to read true to a machinist's level
• Packaging stand that creeps under hand pressure until it is leveled

Skip the BSW-1 in a washdown or corrosive bay; the stainless SSW-1 gives you the same 1.25-inch swivel base without rusting.
