About This Wheel - 50KE103-24
Fit this 10-inch rubber-on-iron wheel to a heavy hauling cart or trailer that needs both large diameter and a wide, high-capacity tread.
The tread is mold-on rubber bonded to a cast iron core, cushioning the load and running quietly while the iron center carries the weight. It pairs a 10-inch diameter, which rolls over big obstacles and pulls easily on long hauls, with a full 3-inch face that spreads heavy weight over a wide contact patch. The cushioned tread absorbs shock on rough ground, with the trade that the rubber can chunk under severe overload and black rubber may mark a light floor. It rides on a roller bearing and holds from -45 to 180°F.
Ideal applications
- 10-inch rubber-on-iron wheel on a heavy hauling trailer
- Wide 3-inch cushioned tread spreading heavy weight on a haul
- Roller-bearing wheel pulling easy over big floor obstacles
For the largest diameter in the line, the 12-inch by 3 50KE123-24 rolls over the biggest obstacles.
Pairs with: a matching heavy-duty swivel or rigid bracket sized to the wheel's bore and a roller-bearing axle.
Wrong fit? Need a narrower tread or a larger wheel? See the 10-inch by 2-1/2 50KE105-24 and the 12-inch by 3 50KE123-24.
Also in this family: the 8-inch by 3 50KE83-24, or the full Colson wheel collection.
