Set this 8-inch total-lock swivel on the corners of a heavy wash-down quiet-area cart that crosses thresholds and then has to park dead-still, where the bearing runs grease-free and the total lock pins the cart.

The total lock pins the wheel and the swivel together in one pedal, so the loaded cart cannot roll or pivot once it is set. The wheel is Pemco's Thermo-Rubber donut tread on a polypropylene core, a soft grey thermoplastic rubber that rolls quiet, leaves no marks, and cushions thresholds and floor seams. The Delrin plain bearing runs maintenance-free with no grease to wash out, so it suits wash-down lines, the tall 8-inch wheel bridges thresholds and elevator gaps, and the 4 by 4-1/2 inch top plate bolts to a flat deck.
