About This Caster - ES8X2TUMTBK
Choose this 8-inch braked swivel for a large cart that has to roll over rough floor and then hold still when it is loaded or unloaded, the rigs where you need both the obstacle clearance of a big wheel and a brake to keep it put.
The 8-inch diameter rolls a heavy cart over dock plates and debris that stop a smaller wheel, and the tread-lock brake clamps the wheel against the floor so the parked cart does not creep. The Pemco TPU polyurethane tread on a polypropylene core carries the load non-marking, and the roller bearing handles the weight under the swivel.
Ideal applications
- Large transport carts parked for loading on rough floor, sealed concrete
- Heavy rigs that cross dock plates then hold still, shop or yard-adjacent
- Big service carts braked at each station, multi-shift
Skip the tread lock if the cart must be locked against pivoting as well as rolling; the ET5X2TUM total lock freezes the swivel too.
