About This Caster - ES8X2TPDB
Choose this 8-inch swivel for a quiet cart that gets pulled in a train, where the wheel has to run true and cool at tow-line speed and still keep the soft, floor-friendly roll of a rubber tread.
The precision ball bearing is held to a tighter tolerance so it runs smoothly and stays cooler behind a tug than a plain bearing, and the 8-inch diameter rolls over rough floor and keeps a train tracking. The Pemco thermoplastic rubber tread on a polypropylene core keeps the roll quiet and non-marking through the route. It is the E-line caster for quiet powered transport.
Ideal applications
- Tow-line cart trains where quiet still matters, warehouse floor
- Larger quiet-rolling carts moved at speed, finished or sealed floor
- Powered transport on rough floor where noise is a concern, multi-shift
Skip the rubber wheel if the cart carries heavy concentrated loads; a TUM polyurethane or cast iron E-line wheel carries more at this size.
