About This Caster - ER8X2PODTBK

Set this 8-inch polypropylene rigid on a heavy wash-down cart corner that clears the roughest ground and has to stay put once parked.

The tread lock brake presses a pad onto the hard polypropylene tread to stop the wheel rolling, holding a heavy parked cart on a grade from a rigid corner. The USA-made polypropylene wheel ignores wash-down water and cleaners that rot rubber, riding firm with no cushion, and at 8 inches, the largest in the E-line, it clears expansion joints and broken concrete. It runs on an economical roller bearing and bolts on a 4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate, holding from -45 to 180°F.
