About This Caster - ER6X2TPRDTBK
Choose this 6-inch E-line rigid for the braked back corner of a big wash haul cart on a wet slope, the fixed TPR caster whose tread lock holds the tall rear while a greaseless Delrin bore rides out the damp.
A rigid caster tracks straight, the tread lock clamps the rear wheel so a big wash cart parked on a wet slope cannot drift, and the Delrin bearing has no grease to wash out and no race to rust. The 6-inch diameter bridges wet-floor drains that stop a smaller rear, the 4 by 4-1/2 top plate bolts to a flat deck, and the wider 2-inch Pemco TPR rubber on a polypropylene core stays soft and quiet with no marks.
Ideal applications
- Braked back corners of big wash haul carts on a wet slope
- Greaseless big rears that hold against drift over drains
- Corrosion-proof brake on a tall wash-area wheel
Skip the TPR wheel if the cart loads near the top of its range or works near heat over 180°F; a TPU polyurethane or cast iron caster keeps firm where rubber sets.
