About This Caster - ER6X2POD
Set this 6-inch polypropylene rigid on the fixed corners of a tall cart in a wet or chemical area that has to clear rough ground.
The USA-made polypropylene wheel is hard and tough, ignoring wash-down water, cleaners, and mild chemicals that degrade rubber, and at 6 inches it clears the worst thresholds and lowers push effort on a long run. The firm wheel rides without cushion, the trade for its chemical resistance and low maintenance. Being rigid it tracks straight behind the steering corners, runs on an economical roller bearing, and bolts on a 4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate, holding from -45 to 180°F.
Ideal applications
- Fixed corners of tall 6-inch carts in wet or chemical areas
- Hard USA-made polypropylene clearing rough ground unaffected
- Roller-bearing rigid tracking straight at the tallest size
For an easier push, the precision-ball ER6X2PODB swaps the roller bearing for a ball bearing.
