About This Caster - ER4X2POD

Set this 4-inch polypropylene rigid on the fixed corners of a compact cart in a wet or chemical area where a rubber wheel would degrade.

The wheel is a USA-made polypropylene, hard and tough, so it ignores wash-down water, cleaners, and mild chemicals that would swell or rot a rubber tread, and it stays low at 4 inches for a bench-height deck. The trade for that toughness is a harder ride with no cushion. Being rigid it tracks straight behind the steering corners, runs on a roller bearing for economical medium duty, and bolts on a 4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate, holding from -45 to 180°F.

Ideal applications

• Fixed corners of compact 4-inch carts in wet or chemical areas
• Hard USA-made polypropylene ignoring wash-down and cleaners
• Roller-bearing rigid tracking straight at a low deck height
