About This Caster - ER4X2MORTBK

Set this 4-inch rubber-on-iron rigid on a compact cart corner that has to ride quiet and then stay put on a slight grade.

The tread lock brake presses a pad onto the rubber tread to stop the wheel rolling, so a parked cart holds on a slope or while it is loaded, a useful feature on a rigid corner that cannot swivel away. The mold-on-rubber tread on a cast-iron core still cushions shock and runs quiet between stops, and at 4 inches it keeps the deck low. It runs on a roller bearing and bolts on a 4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate, holding from -40 to 180°F.
