About This Caster - AS50T1POD
Thread this 5-inch A-Line swivel into a tapped leg or frame when the wheel has to take wash-down and chemicals.
The threaded stem is a 1/2-13 male shaft an inch long that screws into a tapped hole or locks with a nut through a frame, the mount for equipment legs and racks built to take a bolt-in caster rather than a plate. The wheel is tough black polyolefin that ignores water, cleaners, and mild acids, on a Delrin bearing that needs no grease and cannot rust. The A-Line is rated to 350 pounds per caster from -45 to 180°F.
Ideal applications
- Tapped legs and frames taking a 1/2-13 bolt-in caster
- Threaded-stem racks where a plate or kingpin won't fit
- Wash-down and chemical lines where polyolefin won't swell
For the longer stem that reaches through a thicker frame, the 1-1/2-inch threaded AS50T2POD adds thread engagement.
