About This Caster - AS40P2TPUSB

Specify this 4-inch A-line swivel for a wide-plate frame on a finished floor that rolls non-marking and then has to hold its spot.

It bolts down through a 3-1/8 by 4-1/8 inch top plate, wider than the standard plate, so the bolts spread the mounting load across a flexing or heavier deck. The grey thermo-urethane tread on a cast iron core rolls easy under load and leaves no marks from -45 to 180°F, a side brake adds a lever that presses a shoe on the wheel to stop it rolling while the swivel stays free, and the precision ball bearing keeps the roll smooth.

Ideal applications

• Wide-plate finished-floor frames that roll then hold
• Heavier decks where a wide bolt pattern spreads the load
• Non-marking ball-bearing wheels braked on the tread
