About This Caster - AS35H1PODTL

Put this 3.5-inch swivel under a wash-down utility cart that crosses wet thresholds and has to sit still on a slope, where the POD wheel takes the water and a total lock pins it down.

The Pemco A-Line POD wheel is polyolefin on a polypropylene core, a hard black tread that will not soak up water or rust through repeated hosing. The total-lock brake pins the wheel and the swivel together, so the cart sits dead-still on a slope and will not creep, the taller 3.5-inch wheel clears wet door tracks when it moves, and it mounts on a 1/2-inch hollow kingpin. The Delrin plain bearing runs maintenance-free, and the tread holds to 180°F.
