About This Caster - SS-04TPX-125-DL-TP01
Choose this 4-inch Medcaster Stainless Hospital swivel with a directional lock when a long cart or bed has to be pushed straight down a corridor without wandering.
The directional lock is the difference: a foot lever fixes the swivel so the caster tracks in a straight line, which keeps a loaded cart running true down a hallway, while the wheel still rolls for transport. Drop the lock and it steers freely again. The polished stainless steel frame and bearing shrug off disinfectants and moisture, the grey non-marking rubber wheel stays quiet and leaves no floor streaks, and the 5-7/16-inch mount height keeps the deck low. Its 4.5469-inch swivel radius reflects the directional-lock head. It serves from -30°F to 180°F.
